Sleep

 

This time-based piece is a perception of memory and of loss, of living and not living. A live rose is placed in the encasement on the heart of the “body” at the time of the opening of the exhibition. The beads of light within the box surrounding the image, highlight the evolving condition of the flower over the course of the exhibition as it unfolds and its petals slowly fall to the floor below.
