The glass bullet contain the ashes of incense as the final by-product of life setting alight and freeing the spiritual body to become a Tabula rasa once more. The fragile transparent glass cartridge with its dephlogistoned payload of ash addresses the fragility of life and invokes the poet Matsuo Basho’s revered Haiku of the samurai/warrior.
